You will play a key role in ensuring that all stages of the sales cycle are effectively undertaken to ensure strong business relationships are built and maintained and sales opportunities are increased.
Key Role Responsibilities
Business Development Executive – IT Apprenticeships
New Business Development • Sourcing potential clients and developing leads • Meeting, researching, building relationships with new potential clients and set up meetings between client decision makers • Participate in identifying suitable pricing structures for services offered
Client Retention • Present new services and enhance existing relationships. • Work with internal colleagues to meet customer needs • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
Business Development Planning • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends • Present to and consult with senior management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Management and Research • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the CRM system • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets. • Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner
Who we are looking for • Proven Business Development and or Sales experience within I.T • Proven experience in negotiating, winning and closing new business deals • Previous experience in Account Management and building effective working relationships • Strong knowledge of apprenticeships, funding and the training sector.
